Indian artist shot dead in Nepal
Kathmandu, Nov 26 (UNI) An Indian theatre artist was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Saptari district of southeast Nepal.
Fanilal Yadav, 35, a resident of Bihar, was shot at when he was going to perform on the dais at a temple, in front of hundreds of people yesterday, said Superintendent of Police Milan Basnet.
He died on the spot and there was chaos after the incident, due to which the criminals managed to escape.
Yadav was part of a 16-member team invited from Andharamath Jiraul village of Bihar to perform there, Kantipuronline reported.
Police said investigation was underway.
