Confrontations in Northern Sri Lanka kill 3 Tigers

Colombo, Nov 26 (UNI) Confrontation between Sri Lankan troops and LTTE Tigers attempting to breach the front lines in Wanni this morning killed three rebels, the military said.

Troops attacked a group of Tigers who were trying to infiltrate the defence lines in north of Nawathkulam around 0650 am (local time) killing two Tigers. An hour later in a separate confrontation in the same area, another Tiger cadre was killed, defence sources told Colombo Page.
