Minor fire breaks out in Environment Bhawan; no casualty
New Delhi, Nov 25 (UNI) A minor fire broke out in Environment Bhawan in the CGO complex in south Delhi this afternoon, a fire official said.
No casualty was reported in the fire.
The fire, which broke out in the furniture office on the third floor, was put out within half an hour, he said.
Fourteen people, who were present at the time of the incident, rushed to the terrace in panic but they were rescued safely, he added.
''We got a call about the fire at around 1515 hrs and nine tenders were rushed to the spot. Within half an hour the fire was doused,'' the official said, adding that the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
