Man held for possessing fake passport in TN

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 25: Airport police have arrested a man who arrived from Singapore on a fake passport at airport here yesterday.

Police said the arrested G Balakrishnan of Valajikottai near Pattukkottai in Thanjavur district was detained by the immigration authorities when he landed from Singapore after finding that he was travelling with a fake passport.

Later, he was handed over to the local police, who arrested him.
