DFID officials to visit AP to study SSA scheme
Hyderabad, Nov 25 (UNI) The officials of Department For International Development (DFID) will visit Andhra Pradesh to study the initiatives taken up under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) to provide quality education at elementary level.
According to an official release here, the DFID officials comprising Deputy Head Fiona Lappin, Senior Education Advisor Micheal Ward and Education Programme Manager Sangeetha Mehta would visit the state in the first week of December.
Under the SSA programme, the students at elementary level were given Language Improvement Programme (CLIP) and Learning Acceleration Programme for Sustainability (CLAPS), the release added.
