Cold waves in Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada

Pune, Nov 25 (UNI) Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema and interior Karnataka and at isolated places in west Madhya Pradesh.

Cold day conditions also prevailed in some parts of coastal Tamil Nadu and coastal Karnataka.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Konkan and Goa, Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema and interior Karnataka and were below normal in some parts of Orissa, Haryana, Punjab and Gujarat. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Rajasthan, in some parts of Uttar Pradesh and in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, lakshadweep and at isolated places in Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Heavy rains have occurred at isolated places in Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
