Three persons arrested for circulating fake currency

Bijapur, Nov 24 (UNI) City Police have arrested three persons who were indulging in circulating fake currency notes in the Bus stand yesterday.

Police said today that the trio were luring villagers when they were nabbed and 74,100 fake notes in the denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 100 were recovered from them.

The arrested were remanded to judicial custody by a magistrate before whom they were produced.
