Wipro to set up IT centre in Australia
Mumbai, Nov 23: Wipro plans to set up a global IT services centre in Sydney, Australia, which would provide consulting, software development and testing services to local and global clients, according to reports.
The centre, in Western Sydney, will provide consulting, software development and testing services to domestic and global companies in Australia, according to reports.
With revenues of USD 3.47bn (06-07), Wipro started operations in Australia in 2002 and has a strong customer base across the region with operations in New South Wales and Victoria.
Wipro develops and delivers solutions adapted for the Australian market. The company is also nurturing local talent, recruiting and training local employees, including graduates.
