250 mn phone users in India: TRAI

New Delhi, Nov. 23, 2007 : According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India or TRAI the number of telephone users has risen remarkably in our country.

The figures have increased by over 22 per cent in October taking the total telecom user base to a whopping 256.66 million, while the telecom kings continue their fight over the radio waves. And the figure has been crossed much ahead of the target date of December 31.
