Vice-President to visit Kashmir tomorrow
Srinagar, Nov 23 (UNI) Vice-President Hamid Ansari will arrive here tomorrow on his maiden two-day visit to the Kashmir valley after assuming the post, an official spokesman said today.
Soon after his arrival, Mr Ansari would pay obeisance at the historic Hazratbal shrine, housing the holy relic of the Prophet Mohammad, on the city outskirts, he added.
On Sunday, the spokesman said the Vice President would be the Chief Guest at the silver jubilee convocation of the Sher-i-Kashmir Agriculture University of Science and Technology (SKUAST).
The function would be held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) here, he added.
