Two Maoist arrested, explosives recovered

Patna, Nov 22: In a joint operation, the STF and the Patna Police arrested two Maoists from Kumharar under Agamkuan police station area here tonight and recovered a huge quantity of explosives from them.

Official sources said a raid was conducted acting on a tip and detonator, bombs, hand granades, time bombs, other explosive materials and incriminating documents were recovered from the two arrested.

The sources said during preliminary interrogation, the two revealed their plans to attack ministers, jails and important installations.

All exit points of the state capital have been sealed and massive raids launched. All police stations have been alerted and asked to keep a close watch on the movement of suspected persons.
