Thane SEOs without rubber stamps

Thane, Nov 23 (UNI) Despite being appointed as special executive officers, thousands of social workers here are unable to function as SEOs since they have not been provided with rubber stamps required to attest documents.

These SEOs have been handpicked by political parties after much deliberations.

The SEOs are making rounds of the Tehsil and Collector's office but have been informed that the rubber stamps are not yet ready and will be available only after they are received from the supplier.

Special executive officers are empowered to attest documents and are severely handicapped in the absence of the rubber stamps. They are especially popular among the students who have to get their various documents and certificates attested.
