Taslima leaves for New Delhi

Jaipur, Nov 23 (UNI) Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen left for New Delhi this morning after a night's halt here in the Pink City.

The controversial writer left for the national capital by road, official sources said.

Amid demands for her deportation which incited violence in Kolkata and other places in West Bengal, Ms Nasreen arrived here last evening.

She was to reach Delhi by air this morning but her programme changed and she left by road.
