Spice launches 'Smart Dial' in Punjab

Chandigarh, Nov 23 (UNI) Spice Telecom, a premier cellular service provider in Punjab today launched an innovative 'Spice Smart Dial' service in the region, which will automatically connect a Spice user to the desired Spice number that may have been switched off or unreachable earlier.

The service, which is free, was launched here by Spice brand ambassador Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who said, "What I really like about this service that one no longer has to keep one's finger on the redial button as the service just connects you as soon as the number becomes available.'' Priyanka, who has been the brand ambassador of the company for three years now, said that she identifies with the brand because of its ''youthfull and innovative appeal''.

Speaking on the occasion, Spice Telecom CEO Navin Kaul said the ''unique'' service will be automaticaly available to all the pre-paid and post- paid subscribers immediately and ''would prove a boon for busy professionals and business people.

The service would next be extended to Bangalore and then to other places, he said.
