Mumbai, Nov 23 (UNI) Maharashtra Director General of Police Dr P S Pasricha today said the state was already on alert and denied that any specific instructions were issued to step up security around the court premises across the state in view of the serial blasts in Uttar Pradesh.

Three districts of Uttar Pradesh, including state capital, were rocked by serial blasts today, which left three people dead and 45 injured.

The serial blasts had rocked district courts in Lucknow, Faizabad and Varanasi following which the Uttar Pradesh Government has declared a high alert.
