Rs one cr adulterated oil seized, 3 detained

Aligarh, Nov 23 (UNI) Police have recovered adulterated refined oil worth Rs one crore in asynchronous raids here in the last 24 hours police said.

They said 20,000 litre adulterated oil was seized after cops raided an oil mill in Banna Deviganj area.

On the information provided by the detained mill proprietor Rajiv Agarwal, police raided two other oil mills in Dehli Gate area and several thousand litres of fake oil was recovered, besides taking two others Manoj and Ankit into custody.

Meanwhile, the trio were being interrogated and investigations continued.
