Priest rapes teenage devotee

Gulbarga, Nov 23 (UNI) A temple priest allegedly raped a teenage girl at Bhojanayak Thanda in Chittapur taluq in the district today.

Police said that the priest Dhanaraj Rathod allegedly took the the girl into a shed in the vicinity of the temple on the pretext of performing puja and raped her.

The victim's mother lodged a complaint following which police arrested the culprit and sent the victim to the government hospital for medical examination.
