Murasoli Maran remembered

Chennai, Nov 23 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to Former Union Minsiter and DMK ideologue Murasoli Maran on the occasion of his fourth death anniversary here today.

Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi paid tributes to the late leader by offering rose petals to the statue of Maran at Murasoli complex.

Senior Ministers, including K Anbazhagan, Aroct N Veerasamy, Duraimurugan, K Ponmudi and Lyricist Vairamuthu also paid tributes to Maran.

In Tiruchirapalli, DMK Deputy General Secretary and Local Administration Minister M K Stalin and Transport Minister K N Nehru paid floral tributes to his portrait.

Elsewhere in the state, partymen offered tributes by garlanding the statue of Maran.
