LDF helping land mafia, alleges Chennithala

Kannur, Nov 23 (UNI) Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Ramesh Chennithala today alleged that the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government was helping the land mafia in the state.

Inaugurating a party function here, Mr Chennithala alleged that the Achuthanandan government was trying to allot waste land to land mafia and the CPI(M) had some hidden agenda behind this.

''The CPI(M) in Kerala is trying to do what their Bengal counterparts have done in Nandigram,'' he alleged.
