Inflation dips to 3.01% thanks to oil price

New Delhi, Nov 23: Inflation rate for the week ended November 10 came down to 3.01 per cent as against 3.11 per cent last week.

The annual inflation rate was 5.39 per cent during the corresponding week of the previous year, an official statement said here today.

While addressing a business delegation from Iceland Finance Minister P Chidambaram Finace Minister today said, ''We need to ensure that these prices (oil) remain in control and that inflation should not go out of hand.'' UNI
