Hooda urges people to create casteless society

Chandigarh, Nov 23 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today urged the people to create a casteless society as propagated by Guru Nanak Dev.

In a message issued on the eve of the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru, Mr Hooda described him as a great saint, who showed the path of salvation to the humanity and spread the message of fellow-feeling and communal harmony.

Mr Hooda said that such occasions should be celebrated with traditional fervour as these help in strengthening the cultural fibre of the country.
