High alert sounded in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, Nov 23 (UNI) In view of serial blasts in Uttar Pradesh, that the Uttarakhand Government has sounded a red alert in the state Prinicpal Home Secretary N S Naplachayal said here today.

Mr Napalchayal told UNI over in telephone that security has been beefed up in all the 13 districts and instructions have been issued to respective Senior Superintendent of Police and SPs to carry out strict vigilance and checking at border areas. Besides, he said the intensive checking has also been asked to carry out inside the cities. and orders in this regard has been issued by him and Director General of Police.
