Heroin worth Rs one cr seized, 7 smugglers held

Farrukhabad, Nov 23 (UNI) The Special Operation Group (SOG) of police here today busted a smuggling syndicate and arrested seven people possessing heroin worth Rs one crore in the international market.

On a tipp-off, police cordoned off the Kayanganj area and swooped upon the seven smugglers.

On being frisked, one kg heroin was recovered from their possession.

They were being interrogated, police said.
