Hema performs at Kalidas festival

Ujjain, Nov 23 (UNI) Noted actress and BJP leader Hema Malini mesmerised thousands of people with her dance performance at the golden jubilee programme of All India Kalidas Festival here last night.

More than 20,000 people watched her two-hour performance at Dussehra Maidan.

The troupe led by the Rajya Sabha member staged dance-drama based on poet Kalidas's ''Meghdootam'' and ''Kumarsambhav''.

''I derive immense pleasure from dance and nursed a desire to establish a Classical Dance Academy,'' Ms Hema Malini, said, adding she would like to visit the temple town again.
