Governor greets people on Guru Nanak Jayanti

Mumbai, Nov 23 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna has greeted the people on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.

In his message, Mr Krishna said, ''Guru Nanakji stood for the oneness of mankind, care for the under-privileged and respect for all faiths. All his life, he opposed rituals and the caste system.'' Let us all rededicate ourselves to create an egalitarian society envisioned by Guru Nanakji, the Governor added.
