Four Maoists arrested; explosives seized

Banka, Nov 23 (UNI) The police today arrested four Maoists, including a self-proclaimed 'area commander', near Turki More under Chanan police station area in the district.

Police Superintendent D N Gupta said here the Maoists were arrested during a vehicle checking drive.

Some looted rifles of police, live cartridges, mobile telephone and some incriminating documents were recovered from the possession of the arrested extremists.

He said 'area commander' Arvind Kumar belonged to Jamui district, while the other three were inhabitants of this district. The rebels were being interrogated.
