Engineering CPSE units turnover crosses Rs 1600 cr

New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) The engineering units of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) achieved a turnover of Rs 1,645.91 crore last month, an official release said today.

The turnover of tahe non-engineering units during the month was Rs 114.52 crore against a target of Rs.98.88 crore, while the turnover of consultancy and contract units was Rs 138.97 crore against a target of Rs 129.42 crore.

The CPSEs that achieved or exceeded their targets were Heavy Engineering Corporation, Hindustan Machine Tools, Engineering Projects (India) Ltd, Hindustan Salts Ltd., Tyre Corporation of India Ltd. and Hindustan Paper Corporation Ltd, the release said.
