Call rate opens at 6.25 pc

Mumbai, Nov 23 (UNI) Inter-bank call money rate today resumed high at 6.25 per cent compared to its previous close of 5.25 per cent due to increase demand from bankers in the face of lesser fund at the domestic markets .

The call rates are trading steadily in the range of 6.50-6.80 per cent in intra day trade.

The call rates are expected to higher levels on account of reduce liquidity in the call money market, dealers opined.
