Call money ends higher at 6.00-6.30 pc

Mumbai Nov 23 (UNI) Inter-bank call money rates today closed higher at 6.00-6.30 per cent compared to its previous close of 5.25 per cent.

The overnight rates were traversing in the range of 5.25-6.00 per cent.

Dealers said profit booking by FII's in the equity market, which might have pumped in fresh funds in the system, eased the call rates that were trading in the range of 7.00-8.00 per cent for last few days.

Reserve bank of India, through reverse repo, accepted three bids worth Rs 4055 crore today.
