BJP's Kolar bandh partial
Kolar, Karnataka, Nov 23 (UNI) The Kolar bandh call given by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to protest against denial of power by Janata Dal (Secular) evoked partial response today.
Schools, business and commercial establishments remained closed.
First Grade Colleges were exempted by bandh due to Semister examination.
However, Government offices functioned normally.
The BJP workers took out a padayatra on the main streets shouting slogans against JD(S) National President H D Devegowda and former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.
No untoward incident reported, police said.
