50-yr-old crushed to dead by DTC

New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) A 50-year-old man was crushed to death when he came in between a Delhi Transport Corporation and a blueline bus on Desbandu Gupta road in the city today.

Police said, Chandraprakash Gupta, (50), a resident of Loni was trying to board a DTC bus on Desbandu Gupta road around 1800 hrs when the driver suddenly started the bus while trying to overtake a bluline bus.

Chandrapraksh was thrown off the bus and was crushed to death when he landed between the two buses, police said.

He was rushed to Lady Hardinge Medical College where he was declared brought dead, the police added.
