Deccan Aviation shares go up
New Delhi, Nov. 22, 2007 : Shares in Deccan Aviation Ltd touched a record high of 212 rupees, extending Tuesday's 23 percent rise, on market talk that unlisted stablemate Kingfisher Airlines may be merged with it.
Deccan Aviation officials declined comment, while UB group Chief Financial Officer said that there were no such immediate plans. The UB group runs Kingfisher Airlines and owns 46 percent of Deccan, which runs a budget airline.
