RJD supremo to visit Nagaland

Kohima, Nov 22: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad will soon visit to Nagaland, according to official sources today.

However, the date had not been finalised, sources said.

Mr Prasad's visit to the state was confirmed during a deliberation with the state unit functionaries headed by its president Khetovi Kinny at New Delhi on November 18 last.

Mr Prasad, also the Railway Minister, would assess the functioning of the party in the state.

He had also directed the unit to recommend candidature of the party's intending candidates only after proper verification of their association with the grassroot level for the ensuing Assembly polls, sources added.
