PM arrives in Kampala to participate in CHOGM

Kampala, Uganda, Nov 22 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived here tonight on a three-day visit to participate in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) which is going to discuss many international issues, including the war against terror as well as the latest turmoil in Pakistan.

Dr Singh will meet leaders of various countries on the sidelines of the Summit to discuss bilateral, regional and international issues.

The situation in Pakistan was discussed and debated at the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG) meeting which had earlier threatend to suspend the country from the forum if it failed to lift emergency within 10 days.
