NTPC forms subsidiary for captive power plant in Bihar

New Delhi, Nov 22 (UNI) PSU major National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) today said it has formed a subsidiary company to set up a captive power plant of 1,000 MW at Nabinagar in Bihar.

The company will contribute 74 per cent equity and the balance 26 per cent equity in the share capital of this company will be extended by Ministry of Railways, a statement said.
