Naxalites kill one in Gadchiroli district

Nagpur, Nov 22 (UNI) A group of suspected naxalites allegedly killed a 35-year-old man in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district.

A group of 15 to 20 armed naxalites stormed into the house of Devrao Watti in village Umarpal in Dhanora tehsil late last night.

They dragged him outside, beat him up and then slit his throat with a sharp weapon, killing him on the spot, a police release said today.

The outlaws then fled from the spot, the release added.
