Jyoti Basu hurt after a fall at his residence

Kolkata, Nov 22: CPI(M) patriarch Jyoti Basu was hurt after taking a fall in his Indira Bhavan residence yesterday.

Party sources said the 94-year-old leader had hurt his waist, but was now alright.

"An x-ray was conducted on him and doctors have advised him rest. He is now alright," the sources added.
