'Ghost' creates tension in girls school: parents assemble

Chennai, Nov 22 (UNI) The eerie feeling of the ''presence'' of a Ghost created tension in a school premises at New Washermanpet area in North Chennai today, leading to its closure.

As news spread, the parents of about 400 tenth standard students of the Soundarapandi Subbammal Girls Higher Secondary School, assembled in front of the school due to anxiety.

The parents claimed that the students felt the presence of a ghost in the classroom and laboratory. Some ''invisible thing has been touching their daughters in the classroom for the past few days.

Blood stains also began appearing on their uniforms'', they added.

Following this, they drew the attention of school Principal Jebabai Padmini, who immediately called a pastor and conducted a prayer.

As panic gripped the students and their parents, the school management declared a holiday.

Police personnel were deployed in front of the school to prevent any untoward incident.
