EPF official held in bribary case
Hyderabad, Nov 22 (UNI) The sleuths of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today caught redhanded an official of the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) when he accepted Rs 10,000 as bribe from the complainant.
According to an official release here, the officials had arrested Madhav Reddy, Enforcement Officer of the EPF in Karimnagar district for accepting the bribe.
In the other case, the Special Judge for CBI cases in Hyderabad, convicted telephone mechanic of the BSNL, Karimnagar branch in bribary case. He was sentenced to four years imprisonment with a fine of Rs 1,000.
Mr Khasim Saheb was caught redhanded for accepting bribe from the complainant for extending an official favour.
