CPM leader killed in AP village

Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 22 (UNI) CPI (M) District Leader and Tadwai Single Window Chairman B Srinivas Reddy was hacked to death by his political rivals near Akupamula village of Munagala Mandal in this district, today.

The Police said Mr Reddy was attacked with sickles and axes when he was proceeding to his house from Kodad town. He was killed on the spot.

Irate CPM activists staged a dharna on National Highway 9 for more than an hour. Vehicular traffic was hit.

Meanwhile, the district party committee had given bandh call tomorrow in Kodada Division in protest against the killing.
