BHEL bags Rs 2,108 cr Jharkhand contract

New Delhi, Nov 22: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has bagged a Rs 2,108 crore contract for installing two thermal sets of 525 MW each at the upcoming Maithon Right Bank Thermal Power Project in Jharkhand.

The order for the greenfield project has been placed on BHEL by Maithon Power Limited (MPL), a joint venture company of Tata Power and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), a BHEL spokesman told UNI
