Bellary City Muncipal Corpn Commissioner killed in accident

Raichur, Karnataka, Nov 22 (UNI) Bellary City Municipal Corporation Commissioner S H Choudhary and his wife Nirmala (40) were killed when the Tata Sumo in which they travelling to Shahapur collided head on with a lorry at Vasalli village in Raichur district, today.

The police said Choudary, a native of Shahapur, was on his way to visit his family there.

While the official was killed on the spot, his wife succumbed to injuries while being taken to Shahapur Hospital.

The driver of the ill-fated vehicle, Santosh, had been admitted to the Shahapur General Hospital. The couple's bodies were shifted to the same hospital.
