Basha Brahmotsavams begin

Tirupati, Nov 22 (UNI) The nine-day Basha Brahmotsavams organised by the Telugu Samskruti Vikasa Vedika (TSVV) began with Telugu Talli Rathotsavam in the temple town today.

After garlanding Telugu Talli's portrait, a large number of people including students and those from literary field led by TTD Chairman and TSVV President B Karunakara Reddy, TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary and Temple JEO G Balaramaiah participated in a procession to the Mahati Auditorium where a number of eminent literary figures would take part in a literary session to be held from tomorrow.

Later, addressing the media, Mr Karunakara Reddy said the main objective of Basha Brahmotsavams was to give boost to Telugu literature, culture and traditions which were being eclipsed by western culture.
