Azad asks students to focus on environment, cyber crime
Jammu, Nov 22 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today expressed concern over the increasing crime rate and environment problems and asked law students to focus on the twin issues, which concerned the society.
''In an era of specialisation, apart from other related institutions, different branches of law have an important role to play and both Central and State governments as well as Parliament and Legislature are supportive of stringent environmental legislations,'' he said, while speaking to students after inaugurating the law school complex at Jammu University.
The Chief Minister said cyber crimes required special attention of the legal fraternity and asked the law students to focus on this subject.
