VSNL to integrate its signalling towers

Mumbai Nov 21 (UNI) VSNL, a leading communication solution provider, said today that the company will integrate two of its signalling transfer points (STPs) in Mumbai and New Delhi to its global SS7/C and network.

The new STPs will enable Asian mobile operators to locally connect and utilize the VSNL Signalling Connect Control Part (SCCP) service to transport roaming and SMS traffic throughout the globe.

VSNL currently has six signalling transfer points spanning three continents. The newly launched STPs will provide localized intelligent routing, reporting and troubleshooting to a growing list of operators throughout Asia.
