Jet's American partner

New Delhi, Nov. 21 : Jet Airways has entered into an agreement with US private carrier American Airlines for some domestic flights out of New York. The agreement is of a code sharing nature which refers to an arrangement where a flight operated by an airline is jointly marketed as a flight for one or more other airlines.

The private carrier said that the partnership, subject to regulatory approvals, would be effective from Jan 16 next year.
