main
opposition
alliance
All
Parties
Democratic
Movement
or
APDM
met
in
Islamabad
on
November
19,
to
chalk
out
a
joint
strategy
against
emergency
rule
in
the
country.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan, the former Pakistan cricket captain turned politician, began a hunger strike in jail to protest against emergency rule. Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto visited the offices of Geo TV and ARY TV, after the two channels were shut down.
