US to host West Asia peace conf on Nov 27

Washington, Nov 21: The United States announced it will host a West Asia peace conference on November 27 in Annapolis, Maryland that Washington hopes will launch formal negotiations to create a Palestinian state.

In addition to Israel and the Palestinians, the United States has invited a group of key Arab states including Syria and Saudi Arabia to the meeting to be held at the US Naval Academy, US State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said.
