Satellier to ink agreement with realty majors

New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) Satellier Inc, a design support services provider to realty major, today said it is in talks with top ten realty players for strategic partnership to provide its services and will announce the contract soon.

''We are talking with major realty firms for strategic partnership to provide our services and will announce the contract by next 3-6 months,'' company Chairman and CEO Michael Jansen told reporters here.

Chicago-based Satellier, with offices in Delhi and Kolkata, also plans to open two offices in Pune and Kochin in the next six months and will raise its headcount in the country to more than 1,000 from the present 400 by 2011.

Established in 2000, Satellier has raised 10 million dollars in a second round of venture funding from Sequoia Capital for business expansion.

''We will use this fund for capacity expansion, software development and new market development, and building information modelling (BIM),'' Mr Jansen said.

The company claims to provide its services to 25 real estate majors, mainly shopping malls and SEZs, in the last two years.
