Rajya Sabha to discuss Nandigram on Nov 22

New Delhi, Nov 21: The Nandigram issue that disrupted the last two days' proceedings of the Rajya Sabha will be taken up by the House tomorrow.

The announcement was made by Chairman Hamid Ansari as soon as he entered the House to begin the day's business.

''I have some good news for you. We have worked out a solution.

The House will discuss the issue of creation of a Special Economic Zone(SEZ) in Nandigram and its consequences after the Question Hour tomorrow,'' he said.

Some members from Andhra Pradesh tried to raise the issue of MSP for paddy in Andhra Pradesh, but the Chairman asked them to let the Question Hour proceed, assuring them that the issue will be taken up by the House.
